Joanne Selinske PhD, Cht. is the author of Awakened Soul: Discoveries of Healing, Self-Love and Spiritual Growth; Eternal You: Proof of Heaven, the Afterlife and Out of Body Experiences; and God is in the Breeze. She is coauthor of two books for The Michael Newton Institute - Wisdom of Souls and Llewellyn's Little Book of Life Between Lives. Her interest in the survivability of consciousness beyond physical death, sparked during early academic pursuits, blossomed from avocation to vocation in mid-life.

She is a hypnotherapist certified by Brian Weiss Institute in past life regression, The Michael Newton Institute in life between lives® hypnotherapy and the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association. She holds advanced degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling/Family Studies, Metaphysical Science and Ministry, and Transpersonal Counseling. Her spiritual hypnotherapy practice promotes emotional and spiritual transformation while her teaching and writing focus on the soul’s eternal nature and experience. Both reflect her belief that each soul is a spark of the Divine and that humanity is awakening to this truth.
